Blooms and Butterflies at the Botanical Garden on March 26th.
I haven’t had a chance to edit many of my pictures from the botanical garden, but something about this one stands out. Many of the butterflies were past their prime. Often the Blue Morpho will sit with its wings closed and you never see the blue inside until it flys. There were several that were sitting wide open, but it was obvious they were near the end of thier life.
