It was a pretty day out at Christmas Rocks State Nature Preserve.
It was a beautiful day for a hike to the top of Jacob's ladder.
Some of the pines are fullof pinecones.
Even the tiny oak seedlings are showing some good color.
This is probably the last week for good Fall color at the Preserve
The old barn just doesn't look the same without the tall grass and old fence. It is nice to see that the place is being taken care of now though.
