The ArtBreak of Logan, Ohio will open a photography exhibition by the local artist group, PreservArt Ohio. The exhibit, Walk a New Path, will feature the photographic works of Julia Burnside, Sue Finch, and Cheryl Todd. The exhibition, that will run from April 16 – June 18, will focus on the beauty of Ohio’s nature preserves and natural areas.
PreservArt Ohio’s choice of subject comes from a shared passion for nature and photography. Their varying styles are complementary and explore the emotional connection to the natural beauty of the world we inhabit. Curiosity, imagination, nostalgia, and tranquility, are evoked by their art. Their goal is to capture the candid moments in nature, fleeting and soon gone, in order to preserve them for others to enjoy. This exploration of the often overlooked allows the viewer to engage more deeply with the natural world. Detail and unique perspectives encourage viewers to pause and look at the world around them.
PreservArt Ohio is committed to building awareness and appreciation for the Ohio Nature Preserve system through photography. Light and composition will inspire you to Walk a New Path and find your own special moments.
Come meet the artists at the Artbreak on April, 16, 2016, from 6 – 8 pm. The Artbreak, managed by local realtor Carol Mackey, is located at 44 West Main St. in Logan, Ohio.
