Solar Eclipse. After watching weather, traffic and timing, we finally ended up at Lake Murphysboro State Park near Carbondale, IL. Unfortunately I hadn’t realized that the sun had moved behind the tree branches a bit right as the total solar eclipse occurred. The pictures weren’t what I was hoping for, but it was a fun trip, and the resulting image is sort of cool.
