As part of the previous project mentioned for the upcoming Library show, on May 13th I set up the studio lights and background and took some pictures of my pets. Squeaker, our green cheeked conure was pretty easy to photograph, but Tucker our black lab mix was a bit harder because I wanted to incorporate a few things in his picture. My original vision was to have him hold a hammer in his mouth while wearing a hard hat, and while I may try that shot again I was unable to get him to hold the hammer. My daughter helped me keep him on the chair with the hard hat on his head and I took over 30 pictures. The original had the chair and grey background. I later replaced the background with a picture taken at the Cargominium site 3 days earlier(see previous blog post). The first picture is one of the pictures on display at the Fairfield County Library until mid-July.
