Week Ten 2017 52 Project: Rhododendron Cove and Christmas Rocks

In early March the PreservArt Ohio group went looking for Skunk Cabbage. First stop was Rhododendron cove. We found one small plant that was in pretty bad shape, but we did find a few other flowers.

It was on to Christmas Rocks. We found the Skunk Cabbage growing along the road on the way in, and spent some time getting our feet wet.

Much of the Skunk cabbage was already looking sort of old. The warm weather seems to have taken its toll on this cold loving plant.

I took a different route heading home than I usually do and stopped to take pictures of this old Church. Unlike many of the old churches in the area, this one appears to still be in use and is well maintained.
