At Trillium Fest in 2016 this juvenile Great Horned Owl made the unfortunate decision to take his first flight. He swooped in over a crowd of people and crash landed in the stream. Luckily he recovered enough to get back to his feet and climb up the bank. Then he was trapped against the hill looking out into a crowd of people. After snapping this shot I left so hopefully he found a way to take flight again and back to his nest. Most people were giving him space, but there are always a few that had to be told to get back.
