This weekend I had training at Camp Oty’Okwa. It was a fun weekend with a great bunch of people wanting to learn how to share nature with children. The camp is beautiful. While most of the camp is private property, parts of it are available for public use if you want to visit sometime. Click on the pictures if you would like to see higher resolution versions.
Counselors cave and the area around it are part of the camp and NOT open for public use, but one of the many spectacular rock formations in the area, called Split Rocks, is open for public day use. A parking lot located on Purcell Road is available for public parking and a sign in sheet is available (for safety reasons) on the information board across the street.
