2022 Show Schedule

Things are starting to get back to normal and shows are starting back up. It’s beginning to look like a busy year for me.

I have already participated in a show with CWAG at the Lancaster Library in February where I had several photos and a few of my paintings on display. In March I had the MPPC photography show, and we had a good crowd. I did a bird theme for my display and my owl prints and cards were popular. In April I set up a short show in the Gallery space at Wagnall’s Memorial Library with CWAG. I have four or five photographs on display that will be coming down tomorrow.

Up next is the Logan Library, where I will have a display in the entry way display case for the month of May. Items can be purchased by contacting me, or checking out Home Grown on Main in Logan where many of my photos are available for sale.

May 6th, 7th and 8th, I will be doing “Birds in the Hills” at Camp OtyOkwa in the Hocking Hills. I will have many of my bird photos and cards available. This is the first time they are having vendors at this event (I attended in 2019 as a birder), so I will be enjoying the day participating in hikes and spending the evenings at my sale table. I’m not sure how it will go, but there will be an interest in birds, so hopefully some sales will be made.

May 21st is the Canal Winchester Art Stroll. CWAG is putting up a Historical display and I plan to have my “Candy Shoppe” painting there. I won’t be attending the Stroll though as I am out of town that weekend.

Mid May MPPC will be setting up our Summer Reading Program themed photography display. “Beyond the Beaten Path” will showcase our members work, and it will be interesting to see how everyone interprets the theme. There is a scavenger hunt with the photos, and one lucky winner will receive an 8×10 (or equivalent) matted print of the picture of their choice. I will have several pieces in the show. Come check it out at 219 N Broad St, Lancaster, OH 43130, on the 3rd floor (if it is locked, ask to be let in). The show runs from May 20th until July 15th.

June 1st will be the opening for the CWAG show at Wagnalls Memorial Library. Come meet the artists from 6-8 pm at 150 E Columbus St, Lithopolis, OH. I will have several pieces in this show. Many of our artists will also be present during Art at Wagnalls on June 17th and 18th and will have prints available for same day purchase. Mike will also be there with his books and those of the Fairfield County Creative Writers Group. They will be doing readings and workshops. CWAG may also be offering some activities in the Gallery space during the festival. More information about the Art at Wagnalls Festival here: https://www.wagnallsfoundation.org/page/artatwagnalls

July 8th, 9th, and 10th I will be participating in Lily Fest. This is a big outdoor festival with over 60 artisans. I was excited to finally get a spot, as this is a high demand show. I plan to bring more of my flower prints and my new series of flower alphabet prints. There are food vendors and activities with music throughout the weekend. More information here: https://lilyfest.com/ Stop by and say “HI”

On July 22nd I will have a display and prints for sale with MPPC at the Lancaster Art Walk. The Display will be open from 6-9 pm at the First Presbyterian Church 222 North Broad St, Lancaster, OH. The display will also be open the following week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

August is pretty free at this point, but I may do a show at the Bowen House in Logan, OH on the 13th. I will update if I decide to do this show.

September 10th and 11th will be the MPPC Fall Show at Olivedale Senior Center. The group always puts on a nice display.

September 12th to December 9th I will be participating in the CWAG show at the Ohio University Lancaster Wilkes Gallery, 1570 Granville Pike, Lancaster OH. Opening to be announced.

September 24th and 25th is the HHACA Fall Show in the Hocking Hills. We are hoping next year to be back in the newly built Lodge, but for this year we are back in Hocking Hills Elementary 19197 OH-664, Logan, OH.

I think that is it, unless I find a holiday market of some sort in November. As always, if you are planning on stopping by the show and are looking for something in particular just let me know ahead of time, and you can always order off of my website. If you are local we can even avoid shipping fees if you want to meet me somewhere nearby.
