On April 19th I took a hike in the gorge at Conkle’s Hollow. Even though there were quite a few people there, this park still offers a bit of solitude. Several species of spring flowers were at peak.

Camp Oty’Okwa during spring training. It was a beautiful night. I still need to work on my settings a bit, to get sharp stars, but I thought the tree was pretty dramatic.
This is from March 30th. They are much larger now and have finally moved outside full time with our other chickens. I will have to get another set of pictures soon.
