Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park, Ohio

On the way home from Pennsylvania on Sunday we stopped by Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park to do a little hiking. It’s a neat area that sort of reminds me of Split Rocks at Camp Oty’okwa. The rocks here have much larger stones embedded in the sandstone, so it almost feels like the whole thing was made out of concrete. There is no camping here, and trails are hard to follow because so many routes have been made between the rocks that finding the actual trail is pretty hard, but the road is nearby, so there is no concern of getting lost.
