American Robin

$4.50$18.00

“The early bird gets the worm” A member of the thrush family, these are the birds we most often see pulling worms out of the soil. Many consider them to be a first sign of spring, but these birds are considered to be a short distance migrant and can be found throughout winter in every US state except Hawaii. They are just less noticeable in winter when they are feeding on berries in the trees and spend less time on the ground. Taken at the Wetland area behind the River Valley Mall in Lancaster. This Robin seemed very interested in what I was doing. Print will be signed in lower right hand corner in metallic ink.
